We are a local, multi-campus church that opens hearts, opens doors, and opens minds through active engagement with our world.

We are doers. Committed to social justice, ending hunger, eradicating diseases of poverty, and being the healing faith community as God calls us to be.

We accept you for who you are, and guide others searching for deeper meaning. We respect other religions and welcome diverse opinions.

We offer many ways to experience church so you can find a journey you can call your own.

We aren't striving to be all the same, but we are striving to work together to make a significant difference in Wilkinson County and the world through the love and power of Jesus Christ.

What if Church wasn't just a building?

Tammie Klima At Irwinton October 6, 2013

Tammie Klima will lead the Sunday 11:00am services at our Irwinton Campus on October 6, 2013. Tammie accepted Christ as her Savior as a young girl and knows that God has never been far from her side, even though she walked with the world through her 20’s.  She was in her 30’s when the Father tapped her on the shoulder and asked her where she’d been.  She rededicated her life and has never turned back.

She has always been a singer, but never felt the pull to sing gospel music.  That is, until God got a hold of her, some 9 years ago.  He had gently nudged her over the years to participate in church choirs and such, but it wasn’t until that fateful day, that God shoved her.  She heard the words, “I gave you that voice, now you will use it for Me.”  When asked to sing a solo in church, she tried desperately to get out of it, until she heard Him.  She prayed, “Lord, if this is truly the direction you want me to go in, You will need to be there to hold my hand, every time I step behind a mic.”  She says, to this day, He has never let go.

Now, Tammie feels extremely blessed that God is using her to further the growth of His kingdom.  Not a calling taken lightly, she dedicates herself to this ministry.  To spread the Word of God through song and testimony.

This Week's Thoughts

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Everywhere you look these days, people are desperate to hear from God, and to know His will for their lives. Are you one of those people? If so – get ready. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 tells you God’s will for you right now in the midst of the trouble, heartache, or whatever trial you’re facing

That’s it! That’s the will of God for you. “Oh no Brother! You don’t understand. I need to know if God wants me to change jobs; who I should marry; if I’m called into the ministry…” Hold on! If you’re not willing to obey the instructions God has already given you, how are you ever going to hear more? You have to start with what you know. He didn’t say to rejoice evermore if everything is working out, or pray without ceasing if every time you pray, you see instant result, or give thanks if you’re not going through anything bad. He said give thanks IN everything, not FOR everything. There’s a difference. You don’t thank God FOR trials. You thank God IN trials. It doesn’t matter how bad your circumstances are, you have reason to rejoice, and the why is

He will not permit you to undergo any test beyond your endurance. If God thinks you are able to endure it, then it’s time for you to line up your thinking with His. Why even consider defeat if God has already equipped you to win?
